The Catholic Newman Center is a student oriented, Catholic faith community. We are committed to the Gospel of Jesus Christ which calls us to support, challenge, and accept one another. We celebrate life with joy, energy, and vitality!
Mission Statement: The Catholic Newman Center at the University of Nebraska, Kearney is founded on the Word of God and the Sacraments. Our mission is to foster spiritual growth and to bring Christ's presence to the campus community through our faith and our service.
Whether you are a current student or alumni, family or community members, prospective student or faculty, we welcome you to the Newman Center. Regular Schedule:
This schedule is in effect during the regular UNK academic schedule. During breaks, holidays, and summer months, please call the Newman Center at 308-234-1539 for current activities.

Changes in the Roman Missal
Starting with the first Sunday of Advent, we will be experiencing the changes in the Roman Missal. According to the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB): "Now is the time to seize the opportunity given to us for all Catholics in the United States to deepen, nurture, and celebrate our faith through the renewal of our worship and the celebration of the Sacred Liturgy."
